ABOUT

Cheryl McMahan is the Principal Interior Designer for Blue Azalea Design.  She has established herself as a trusted advisor, designer and lifestyle expert by creating memorable, tailored and unique interiors for a wide variety of residential clients throughout the state of Texas.  Her focus on balancing functional, practical interiors with fresh, colorful design has provided busy families with homes that are beautiful to live in and easy to enjoy.

Cheryl stays abreast of current and upcoming trends through national and regional design memberships and meetings.  She provides her clients with furnishings that are not readily available in local retail stores, is a member of design buying groups, and travels to major furnishing markets to stay abreast of new and upcoming furniture, accessories and building trends.

Many clients need to work within a defined budget when redefining their spaces.  Cheryl works with clients and tailors her offerings based on client needs.  This flexibility allows clients access to the services they need while avoiding unnecessary costs and fees that may be associated with other interior designers.

Everyday luxury can be achieved whether you are a D-I-Y homeowner or busy executive.  Cheryl has helped many families achieve this in the Keller, Westlake, Colleyville, Trophy Club, Southlake, Grapevine, Fort Worth, Roanoke and surrounding areas.  She has developed long-term relationships with many clients, sometimes partnering on several projects over the years together, and over 90% of her clientele comes from direct referrals.

You will learn that Cheryl is an open book, who is happy to discuss all the ins and outs on how to make your life and your home better - and 100% you.  Whether you need help selecting building materials, paint colors, specialized contractors, or selecting and buying furniture, accessories and soft furnishings, you will have a partner to help you along.

Cheryl is blessed with a fun and loving family. A loving and busy husband, three fun and feisty daughters, an energetic visla pup and her daughter’s hamster, keep Cheryl quite busy when she’s not pulling together fun, personal, unique and unexpected spaces for her clients.  Growing up in a family-owned business and supporting her family drives her hard work and dedication to her craft.  She continuously strives to learn more, do more and be more through ongoing education, design industry mentors, and client feedback.

Having a child with a brainstem tumor, Cheryl is passionate about fighting against childhood cancers, various brain cancers, and relieving the stresses of these families in their home when the rest of their life feels chaotic, scary and unpredictable.  She also donates time to local charitable organizations that help build and rebuild homes after loss or in times of need.
